Cerro Negro is located near the city of Leon and is reached within a 50 minute drive.
The 728 meter high volcano is still active! Don't worry though, it hasn't erupted since 1999 and its activity is monitored regularly.
Our 4 wheel drive car will pick you up at your accommodation or a central pick up point and will take you to the volcano.
